Easter Hat Parade

On the last day of term we have an Easter Hat Parade at 9am! Start thinking about what your Easter Hat will look like! We hold the parade in the half court and everyone is welcome. The Easter Raffle will be drawn after the parade.

Swimming 2024!

We had beautiful weather for our swimming program this year and the swimming carnival was no exception! What a great way to finish up. Lots of cheering, terrific swimming and teamwork. Well done everyone!

Harmony Day

Remember to wear orange!
Harmony Week is an Australian Government initiative held each year, promoting the benefits of cultural diversity in Australia. The message of Harmony celebrations is Everyone Belongs. 
On the day, little packages with a ribbon, badge and writsband will be available for $2.

DASH Expo

What a fabulous turnour we had at our DASH Expo! We welcomed family members and members of our local community to hear about students' ideas for positive change in their community. Guests then voted for their favourite project. Thanks to Ollie and Cass for running this terrific program.

Book Week!

Dress up day! Come dressed as your favourite book character on Monday 21st August. Families- lease join us for a parade at 9am!

Boite Choir

Students performed as part of the Boite Choir at Melbourne Town Hall last week. We love being a part of the Boite every year, and are always so impressed with our students and their beuatiful voices. 

100 Days at school!

Congratulations to our fabulous Preps on attending school for 100 days! They had a great celebration on Monday. Special thanks to Miss P and Michael for all that they do to make our Preps 100 days smarter!!

Gumnuts Music & Movement Program

Gumnuts 2023

For 3 and 4 year olds, 9:30-10am in the Music Room at MKPS.

Thursdays- June 15th, July 27th, August 17th & Septemer 7th.

Come along for some singing, dancing & musical fun.

Winter Woolies Day

To celebrate the first day of Winter, we will hold Winter Woolies Day on Thursday 1st June. Come dressed in your warmest Winter woolies- beanies, scarves, gloves & socks!
Gold Coin Donation- all proceeds will be donated to Exford PS. 

ANZAC memorial structure

Our ANZAC memorial garden is looking fantastic. Thank you to everyone involved in it's construction and inspiration. 

Mothers' Day

Another fabulous turn out for our Mothers' Day High Tea. A huge thank you to our hard working PFA and everyone wo contributed. Such a lovely celebration of the MKPS mums, grandmas, aunties and special friends.

Our fabulous Garden

Our school garden is beginning to bloom and we are loving watching everything grow. A lot of hard work goes into these projects and we are very grateful to have such fabulous resources at our school.

ANZAC Day Service

Congratulations to Grade 4/5/6 for the wonderful ANZAC service they held today. All students spoke so well and so confidently to our many community guests. Thank you to Josephine and Juliette for being our fabulous MCs, all of the attendees and to Michael for setting up the hall.
